TC: What to go over in an intro call with a new agent

Excited about marketing yourself and getting new business but nervous what is going to happen when someone finally calls you? This video is for you!

Today I want to cover what to go over in your first intro call with a new agent who wants to hire you. Below are some points to get you started:

  • What systems they use

  • Preferred vendors

  • What systems you will need access to/logins

  • Brokerage specific requirements/checklist

  • Are they currently using a TC or have they in the past?

    • Is there anything they really liked that the prior TC did?

    • Is there anything they really did NOT like?

  • Communication preferences

  • Personal preferences

  • Walk them through what a typical transaction looks like

  • How and what information/documents you need upfront to get started on an new contract or listing

  • Payment process

  • Ask if they have any questions

A successful intro call is the ideal place to gather any missing information you need and to set proper expectations. It is key to making the client feel well informed and taken care of from the start!
